When we arrived in Maryland, the wind was cutting and the air was bitter cold. Chris purchased a heavier coat, and the wedding party froze their bums during the Thursday evening rehearsal dinner ... But GOD knew that Megan and Kevin had chosen Sunday, April 22, 2018, to be their wedding day - the day that they would proclaim their love in front of friends and family at the beautiful Pond View Farm. The sun was gloriously shining against the beauty of blue skies! The trees were in full bloom on this gorgeous Spring day. The setting was full of love and serenity. What a blessing that we were able to fly up from Florida and share this special day with our wonderful Colter Family!
You know I am not a fan of performing wedding photography - The pressure of capturing the perfect moments and fulfilling the Bride's childhood dream gives me a bit of anxiety ... BUT when you designate yourself as the third shooter for FREE, pressures off and it's all fun! ☺ Megan and Kevin invested so much time and thought into the details of their Western theme ceremony. I could not resist walking around and taking pictures of the little details. I also had to leave my seat after Bryce started calling everyone "Uncle Craig" ... loudly ... during the ceremony ... BUT that exit gave me a new view and perspective of the wedding from a further distance of the ceremony! I was excited to know that I would be able to give Kevin and Megan some images different from the traditional wedding photographer images.
With such an amazing location and the family dressed up, we took advantage of it. Auntie Sue's family wall portrait can updated from 2006, the last time we took one. Our niece Kate will now have a few maternity pictures including my favorite one with our sweet girl, Kimber!
COLTER FAMILY: We have loaded these images without watermarks and full size resolution for printing. Please download your favorites and use as you wish. If you are prompted for a release form by a Vendor playing by the rules, just let us know. Without the logo, it shouldn't be an issue. If so, we'll send you a release form.
KEVIN AND MEGAN: It was an honor and joy to be there to celebrate your Wedding Day with you! We love you both and wish a lifetime of love, happiness, and laughter!
