It's been a wild ride, since we returned from our Colorado vacation in early October. Seems like our "schedule" went from zero to sixty after we returned! Our schedule has been chocked full with multiple therapies, Boy Scouts, church, and Bible studies - in addition to my daytime job, Chris' homeschool job, AND Artigraphs Photography! We are excited that we have been filling each week with photo sessions. I haven't had a chance to finish unloading vacation photos from iCloud until today! Wowza!
Day Two of Colorado was the first National Park that we were able to visit on this trip - Sand Dunes National Park. It was unseasonably warm with 90 degree temps in late September. We are from Southeast Florida - We left hot sand and 90 degree temps to see fall colors and feel cooler weather! Our stay was brief at the dunes, so we could begin our journey into the center of the state through the National Forests. My "Happy Meter" ticked up rapidly as we began to feel the temperature drop and see trees with beautiful colored leaves! We took our time driving through the backroads and ended our day in Gunnison. If you ever visit Gunnison, CO, we highly recommend Marios Pizza. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up eating there three different times while we were in that area!
