January was a busy month for Artigraphs! We had the honor of photographing four families and a high school senior.
Two of the families were Artigraphs customers who now have sweet baby girls - I was able to love upon and get my "baby fix". It's always so nice to watch families grow and be a special part of documenting these precious growing families.
Two of the sessions were Christmas gifts from Hubby to Wife - Neither had family portraits in quite awhile, so now they will have fresh, beautiful memories. It's so important to make time to have these family portraits with all family members, especially for the children who will treasure these printed memories.
Our high school senior session was fun - Handsome young man with a beautiful smile and great personality. I loved the fact that he had his mom, sisters, and best friend join us to keep the mood fun and light! As with most high school senior boys, he was doing it for Mom but still made it easy for me. As I told them, they provided me with free entertainment. ☺
The weather was actually kind and cooperative for every session. Our schedule worked around the cold snaps and rain that came through South Florida in January. We had a variety of locations which I always enjoy from a creative perspective. One session was behind their home in a wooded area and the golf course. One was in a new favorite PSL location, while the others were at our studio/garden. We will continue to add areas to photograph in our garden area as we roll into 2019. Our new fence is beautiful and makes a wonderful background. Our studio is designed for the babies' first year. It's nice when we can use the studio and also step outside for a few pictures in natural light.
January was a busy month for us personally, too! We'll post another blog with family highlights. ☺ We are happy and blessed to be able to continue to have new clients and grow our Artigraphs family. When I left my 20-year career in the financial industry to pursue my photography dream FULL TIME in 2009, I had no idea how the journey would unfold. We were able to travel to Alaska (twice), California, Tennessee, and Indiana to photograph families before we were pleasantly surprised with Bryce! Our circumstances have changed the past five years and has required me to return to the financial field - And yet we are still able to continue Artigraphs at a slow, enjoyable pace. It's our calling and will continue until God closes the door. We look forward to meeting new families and also spending time with our amazing client-friends who continue to choose Artigraphs for their family photo memories.
Wishing each of you who have taken time to read this blog a Happy New Year full of love, laughter, and hope!
