There's nothing quite like watching "Bunny Love" during our Easter mini-sessions. These sessions are designed to create an exciting, memorable experience for the kids and their parents - A chance to play with the bunnies, feed them, and give them some love. Aiden almost missed the chance to give Hoppy this tender kiss because of a conflicting schedule. We're so happy it worked out! Logan gave Fluffy some cheek-to-cheek love and also watched on with excitement as his twin, Aiden, lovingly fed Hoppy a carrot. Alexis had no fear of the bunnies and would look up for approval from her parents and grandma from time to time as she pet and fed Hoppy. Cheyenne may be shy around us, but she had no problem hanging out with Fluffy with a sweet expression of contentment. A warm feeling flows through my heart when I look at Leilani giving Hoppy some love ... knowing that she had just spent ten long days in the hospital as she continues to battle her kidney cancer. She loves animals, and Hoppy & Fluffy brought her some emotional healing if nothing else on that special day.
Yes, it's a lot of work to bring it all together each year .. and, yes, it's worth every ounce of energy when we see these pictures. Thanks again to all of the families who participated in our 2012 Easter Sessions and making it a great success!!
